2. Overview

We only process personal data to the extent needed to run this website and the waitlist. We do not use analytics or marketing tools and no tracking cookies. Fonts and all other content are delivered together with the website by our hosting provider; visiting the site does not send any data to Google or other third parties.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel, a service of Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Vercel delivers the pages through a global content delivery network. When you visit the website, Vercel automatically records information that your browser transmits (server log files):

This data is needed to deliver the website securely and reliably and to detect errors or attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and error-free operation of the website. We do not analyse the log files; Vercel deletes them after its retention periods expire. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Vercel in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR (Data Processing Addendum).

Data may be transferred to the USA in the process. Vercel Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). More information: Vercel privacy notice.

4. Waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we process your email address so that we can contact you as soon as your access to hai.suite is ready. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract).

For the waitlist we use Clerk, a service of Clerk, Inc., USA. Only when you submit the form does your browser load Clerk and transmit your email address and technical connection data (e.g. IP address, browser information) to Clerk. Clerk sets technically necessary cookies that are required to process the signup securely. Clerk processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.

The data is processed in the USA. Clerk, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). More information: Clerk privacy policy and Data Privacy Framework Notice.

We store your email address until your access has been set up or you leave the waitlist. An informal message to info@hotelmediaconcept.de is enough.

5. Contact by email

If you email us, we process your details to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract or its initiation, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our interest in answering enquiries). We delete the data once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

For security reasons, this website uses SSL / TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
